The Forest of Aulwayze is a mystical forest abundant with knowledge, lifeforms, and spiritual beings. This endless realm within the Earth is populated with giant trees that sprawl across the forest floor that is blanketed with various plant life growing from the rich soil of the ground.
In the deepest parts of the forest where trees grow closest to one another, the sky is shrouded by the canopy creating the illusion of an eternal cycle of evening and night, this is where the owls thrive in the skies.
This realm cannot simply be found through the use of the senses or modern technology, she must choose you according to the nature of your spirit. Aulwayze reveals herself only to those that seek to exist in harmony with the natural world and her many children.
When you are chosen, Aulwayze will open a door for you within a natural environment or a tree large enough for you to pass through. Time moves slowly here, so enjoy your stay before returning to your own reality.
When you are ready to leave, you can simply ask one of the trees to open a door for you, and you will return from whence you arrived. Once you have opened the doors to this realm, Aulwayze will await your return.
The spirit beings of this world are known simply as the “tree sprites”. They are the children of the trees and manifest sporadically in a variety of morphologies and personalities.
Some stay very small and some grow very large, but not so big as to outgrow their mothers that tower over the forest. Unless you are recognized as a human of Nurayah, you are reconstructed into one of these beings upon passing through a door into Aulwayze.
Don’t worry though, you will regain your native form once you leave this realm. Once you are given a sprite form, it is the form that you will always take when you pass through the doors of the forest.
Wide rivers flow throughout various areas of Always, providing a source of water for the many organisms of the forest and a home for the aquatic animals and spirit beings.
The waters of these rivers have peculiar properties that promote healing, regeneration, awakening, and even spiritual abilities.
Each river has her own personality and attributes, and provides the living beings of Always with unique benefits and gifts. There are even beings that can only survive in specific rivers due to the qualities that the trees surrounding them are given.
Animals are everywhere and live peacefully within the forest, as the Nurayans do not hunt them, they do not fear humans and do not feel the need to attack them.
The fauna here is composed of a balance of carnivorous, herbivorous, and fruit eating species that tend to grow a bit larger in size due to the vast availability of space, resources, and lack of harmful interference.
They may wander into the cities out of curiosity, but prefer to remain away from the noise of humans in the densely wooded areas.
